The factors that contribute toward your ability to successfully participate in sports activities are skill related fitness components. 

 

THE SIX COMPONENTS ARE:

 

AGILITY: the ability to change position of your body quickly and to control the movement of your whole body.

 

BALANCE: the ability to keep an upright posture while you are standing still or moving.

 

COORDINATION: the ability to use your senses, together with your body parts.

 

POWER: the ability to strength performances quickly.

 

REACTION TIME: the amount of time it takes to get you moving once you recognize the need the need to move.

 

SPEED: the ability to perform a movement or to cover a distance in a short period of time.
